FSTI Factual Proposal Presentation Course

FÁS Screen Training Ireland is seeking applications from producers, directors, researchers and development personnel for their Proposal Presentation for Documentary/Factual Programming course.

The course takes place in Dublin on the 10 & 11 December 2007. Participants should have a wish to to refine their proposals and explore the commissioning process and a proposal outline for either a factual programme or documentary, which they wish to develop.

The workshop will involve –

Day 1- Developing the participant’s proposals both in terms of how they are written and how the participant presents the proposal and pitching skills.

Day 2- Exploration of the current market and examination of the commissioning process including the opportunity to pitch your project to two commissioning editors.

Tutoring the course is Christina Burnett from Wide Eye Pictures, alongside Máire Ní Chonlain, Commissioning Editor (TG4) and Kevin Dawson, Commissioning Editor (RTE).

Cost €200.
Deadline for applications is 3 December 2007.
