Zanzibar Films have joined forces with filmmaker Paul Davey to complete a major documentary film following the Irish Cricket team’s journey to the recent Cricket World Cup in the Caribbean.
Throughout March and April this year, Davey traveled with the Irish team to the World Cup filming over 40 hours of exclusive behind the scenes footage. The director is currently shooting final interviews before post production gets underway in September.
Fans have also been given the opportunity to name the documentary via the official website www.irishcricketdoco.com.
Zanzibar producers Shimmy Marcus and Edwina Forkin are currently negotiating deals for a broadcast and DVD release which is expected to launch pre-Christmas.
