Fujifilm Ireland Ltd. has added three new camera stocks to its range for Digital Film Recording and Duplication. The ETERNA RDI and ETERNA CI stocks are designed for release printing, while the new Camera Negative ETERNA Vivid 160T replaces the Vivid 160T Types 8543/8643. stock.
ETERNA-RDI is the industry’s first film exclusively for digital film recorder output. Recently the production of motion pictures has been moving toward a method called ‘digital intermediate (D.I.),’ in which all image information is digitised in a digital master. ETERNA-RDI is an answer to this demand. By designing exclusively for this application, Fujifilm claims to have achieved a major improvement in image sharpness. This film responds to the need for higher-definition digital image output.
ETERNA-CI is a colour intermediate film for producing master positives and duplicate
negatives which uses the technology used in ETERNA-RDI. It has increased image sharpness, which is essential to intermediate film, and has further improved colour reproduction characteristics that are true to the original.
Fujifilm continue to support film production by investing in the development of the ETERNA series and other high-quality motion picture film products.
FujiFilm Ireland Ltd. is located at 78 Lagan Road, Glasnevin, Dublin 11.
