Ricky Paull Goldin, son of Irish celebrity hypnotist Paul Goldin, has been nominated for an Emmy. The actor has received the ‘Best Lead’ nomination for his role as Gus Aitaro in American TV show ‘Guiding Light’.
Ricky’s proud father, his wife Helen and their daughter Katie-Jane, a trained hypnotherapist who pens an advice column for an Irish magazine, will be jetting in to LA for the awards this Friday.
The actor, who spent his childhood travelling from Ireland to England, Hawaii and Long Island due to his father’s career, was previously nominated for the same role in 2003. He also won a Soap Opera Digest award for his role in daytime soap ‘Another World’ in 1992.
Ricky will also be presenting an award and performing a song at the ceremony.
