Pathe has confirmed that Ken Loach's 'Barley' has taken €887,000 in ten days on it's release in Ireland. The Palme d'Or winner also took £1,165,936 at the UK box office, making it Loach's highest grossing film in Ireland and UK.

The film is currently on release on 60 screens in Ireland.
