RTÉ IPU Announce Commissioning Briefing Session

The RTÉ Independent Productions Unit has announced a briefing session to take place in Dublin on 30th June to discuss the forthcoming 2007 Commissioning Round. Representatives from Irish production companies are invited to attend.

This session will be held at Dublin’s O’Callaghan Davenport Hotel and is intended to precede the publication of the IPU’s Commissioning Round Advertisement 2007 on 3rd July.

RTÉ representatives and commissioning editors scheduled to speak at the event are Sheila De Courcy (Young Peoples); Ray McCarthy (Regional); Jane Gogan (Drama); Sarah Ryder (Multicultural & Educational); Kevin Linehan (Entertainment); Grainne McAleer (Daytime & Lifestyle) and Kevin Dawson (Factual). The session will conclude with an open Q&A with Andrew Fitzpatrick (Head of Scheduling) Mary Curtis (Asst. Director of Programmes, TV) and Claire Duignan (Director of Programmes, TV).
