Yu Ming Win’s Best Short in Berlin

‘Yu Ming is Anim Dom’ by Daniel O’Hara has won another award for Best Short Film at this years Britspotting – British & Irish Independent Film Festival in Berlin.

The film beat off competition from 50 short films in 4 different programmes, including one exclusively Irish reel, and picked up the EUR500 prize money. This adds to a long run of wins for ‘Yu Ming Is Anim Dom’ which has also won awards at the Celtic Film Festival and the New York Film Fleadh to name but a few and has had a wonderful response since it won at last years Galway Film Fleadh.

In the feature film category Best feature film 2004, went to ‘Jelly Dolly’ By British filmmaker Susannah Gent and John Crowley’s ‘Intermission’ received a special mention from the Jury.
