Film Board Highlights at the Fleadh
10 Jul 2003 :
Intermission, starring Colin Farrell, Cillian Murphy, Colm Meaney, Kelly McDonald and Shirley Henderson will have its world premiere at the Fleadh on Friday 11th July. Headrush, directed by Shimmy Marus and The Honeymooners directed by Karl Golden will both be screening on Saturday 12th July.

Goldfish Memory will be screened on Friday 11th, as will Bl,.m based on Joyce's Ulysees, and Spin the Bottle, produced by Grand Pictures will close the festival on Sunday 13th.

Documentaries screening at the Fleadh include Inis Films' Eye of the Storm which charts the world of surfing, in Ireland on Sunday 13th and Time Has Come, which documents the lives of a Romanian couple forced to abandon their home and face the prospects of starting a new life in the West, on Thursday 10th. Kiarostami: The Art of Living produced by Harvest Films, and Dust Devils produced by Purple Productions will also be screened.

Short Cuts and Oscailt will be screened on Friday 11th and Short Shorts and Frameworks will be screened on Saturday 12th. There will also be a discussion forum on the future of the Short Cuts scheme on Saturday 12th at 4pm in the Town Hall Theatre.
