London-based Free Spirits Film Productions is shooting a documentary on the
Willie Clancy school of traditional music in Miltown Malbay July 3rd - 14th.
The festival, which has been in existence for 31 years, is one of the greatest
annual gatherings of traditional musicians. The project will utilise S16mm,
Digibeta and DV for a textured approach to the music, the musicians and the
Clare landscape. Jaap Mees from Holland directs, DoP is Matt Skinner and
Jim Corcoran is on sound.
