'Modulations'
One of the highlights of the recent Murphy's Cork Film Festival, Lara Lee's dynamic and comprehensive documentary 'Modulations' explores the history of electronic music and it's influence on a whole generation, questioning whether its evolution was intentional or accidental. At the end of the first decade since House music began to dominate clubs, pubs and charts 'Modulations' creates a collage of interviews, extraordinary visuals, in-studio footage and live performances and examines how electronic music has transformed and empowered the lives of so many people, from bedroom boffins to cutting edge DJs.
