'Dead Meat' Starts Production

Dead Meat, the first project which has been funded through the Film Board's ultra-low-budget scheme, has started shooting in Leitrim.

Dead Meat, the first project which has been funded as part of the of the board’s ultra-low-budget scheme, has started shooting in Leitrim (Monday 14). The film is being produced by Ed King/Three-Way productions and directed by Conor McMahon on a budget of €100,000. The project, which will be shooting for 5 weeks, is about a city girl trying to survive a zombie outbreak.

The film is a development of MacMahon's short 'The Brain Eater'.
