A total of 26 Irish production companies and broadcasters will attend the 2006 edition of MIPTV featuring MILIA from the 3 – 7 April, nine of whom will be at the offical Enterprise Ireland "Ireland on Screen" stand and a further four attending under the MEDIA Umbrella Stand.

The MIPTV market is one of the world’s premier audiovisual & digital content exhibition. Taking place in Cannes, France, this event plays a key role in the promotion and sales of Irish production and provides an important networking opportunity.
Eighteen delegates will be present at the “Ireland on Screen” stand at the Cannes Festival, representing the following companies:

Agtel & Independent Pictures: Specialising in factual and factual entertainment programmes producing 35 – 45 hours of prime time television annually, including the IFTA winning ‘Show Me The Money’, Rip Off Republic and Ear to The Ground.
Big Mountain Productions: Specialising in oprginal format, drama and factual entertainment. Credits include JAM, a 5x30 rock music based reality show.
Jam Media: Animation studio that has developed a means of delivering
broadcast animation over traditional and new media platforms. Creators of the IFTA winning childrens animation series ‘PICME’ and ‘Twisted Tales’.
Liberty Films: Specalising in documentary and factual entertainment. Credits include recent RTE hit series’ ‘The Family Silver’ and ‘No Experience Required’. Company is currently in production with a documentary series on Ireland’s entrepreneurs entitled ‘Raging bulls’.
Network Ireland Television: Independent television sales promotion and distribution company. Portfolio consists of 950 hours of TV and video material from Irish broadcasters and production companies. New titles for sale include ‘On Eagle’s Wing’, ‘Wild Trials Series 2’, and ‘The Great Drowning’.
Telegael Media: Emmy winning production company of animation and live action series. Creators of ‘ToddWorld’, ‘Tutenstein’, ‘Pet Alien’ and currently developing live action projects for national & international television market.
Tile Films: Specalising in documentary and factual programming. Creators of ‘The Lost Gods’ and ‘Waterways’ series and currently shooting HD feature length documentary ‘Duffy’s Cut’.
TVOne Group: Offers ready made broadcast channels for international distribution, including; classic rock channel ‘Powerstation’, cult film channel ‘The Really Terrible Film Channel’, ‘The Western Channel’ and country music channel ‘Lonestar’.
