Princess Pictures has
wrapped photography on their short film ‘The Hotel Trade’. Funded by the NIFTC, the film is directed by Martin Brennan (Soldier), produced by Sasha King and written by Benedict R. Fancy.

wakes up in agony, immersed in a bathtub of ice water. The film follows his attempts to piece together the events of the night before and how he got there…
The film was shot on S16mm over a three day period by Director of Photography Tim Fleming (Small Engine Repair, Turning Green), and stars Jonathan Byrne (Honeymooners, The Clinic), Katie Kirby (Jellybaby) and Emma-Rosa Diaz. Editing is being carried out by Joe Marcus (Headrush) in Northern Ireland. The soundtrack will be composed by NYC composer & musician Bill Snodgrass (Communal).
Director Martin Brennan is currently working on the script for his debut feature film 'The Fairy Tree'. Co-written with Michael B. Jackson and produced by Mark Huffam (Mickybo & Me, Goal), the film is being supported by the NIFTC Development Fund and is classed as in early development.
‘The Hotel Trade’ producer Sasha King has a slate of features in development with the Irish Film Board including Michael Kinirons ‘The Lake’, Gavin Clelands ‘Dead Wait’ and she has recently optioned Jason Tammemagi’s (Dublin 1) animated horror film ‘Corners’.
