Then, what starts as a bit of a joke gathers momentum with a couple of heavyweight politicians defecting to Mrs. Pritchard's side.
The series has been developed with Patrick Spence and Kate Evans at BBC Northern Ireland. It is written and created by Sally Wainwright (The Taming of The Shrew, Canterbury Tales – The Wife of Bath, Sparkhouse and At Home With The Braithwaites), produced by Alison Jackson (Child of Mine, Not Only But Always, Murder Rooms) and executive produced by Jane Featherstone and Simon Crawford Collins of Kudos Film and Television.
