Patrick Kenny‘s low budget feature film ‘Winter’s End’ has scooped the Best Picture Award at the Hollywood DV Festival in LA.
Writer/Director Patrick Kenny attended the Hollywood Festival and expressed his overwhelming delight and amazement at receiving this award.
“I was absolutely dumbfounded when they announced the Winner. This is wonderful news as a first time writer and director on a feature length project and for all the cast and crew of Winter’s End”.
This latest Award follows two Irish Film and Television Award nominations (Best Actress and Best Music in a Feature), which won the Best Music in a Feature at the November awards ceremony in Dublin.
‘Winter’s End’ has now secured an American Sale’s Agent, Bill Donnelly & Associates, and producers hope this recent award will increase the movie’s prospects in North America and Canada.
