Arc Productions have announced they will begin production on their new feature film ‘Pride And Joy’ next month in Dublin. Directed by Ronan Glennane, the ultra low budget drama will star Michèle Forbes, Owen Roe and Aidan Kelly.

‘Pride and Joy’ is written by Nell Greenwood and Ronan Glennane. The film tells the story of a woman (played by IFTA nominated actress Michèle Forbes - Omagh) who must come to terms with the death of her mother while her husband (Owen Roe - Intermission, Breakfast On Pluto), fights with her brother (Aidan Kelly) for the inheritance on her mothers house.
Shooting on High Def, the three week shoot will commence on September 19th. Deirdre McMahon, Ronan Glennane and Nell Greenwood are producing.
Ronan’s debut low budget short ‘The Account’, also starring Owen Roe, will broadcast on RTE TWO on Saturday the 6th of August as part of the short screen slot. The short costing €5,000 was financed through private equity.
