Dermot Doyle, first time writer/director of low budget feature film ‘Hill 16’ has won an 'Outstanding Achievement in
Digital Film' Award at the 2005 DV AWARDS in Utah USA.
26 year-old Doyle, wrote ,directed, filmed ,edited the film on a budget of Euro20,000.00 {$26,000.00}. The DV Awards is a new international competition celebrating outstanding creative and technical achievements in the emerging world of digital video production.
‘Hill 16’ will have its US east coast premiere this weekend at the Bayridge Brooklyn Film Festival and will premier in Ireland next month at the Galway Film Fleadh.
