leads to a FETAC NCVA Level 2 Certificate in Media Production
1 year (full-time) OR

This certificate is intended to give students a comprehensive overview of the latest media production techniques. Students will be given the opportunity to learn key theoretical content and experiment with traditional and digital visual production techniques. The programme meets the needs of those who have completed a Leaving Certificate or have relevant experience and want to proceed to third level on completion of the course. The course requires full-time attendance for a period of one year. All facilities are provided by the college - darkroom, cameras (all formats), computer workstations, scanning equipment and digital imaging software. The course includes a period of work experience.
