Red Rage Films Sign DADDY
10 Mar 2005 :

TV commercials production company Red Rage Films have signed up animation directing team DADDY (Design Animation Design Design Yay) to add to their already distinguished list of live action directors.

DADDY are Mike Ahern and Enda Loughman, they describe themselves as: “A 2-man directing superteam that produce high quality Animation, Design and Illustration every single day of our lives…. We also like jokes, making stuff up, winning races and getting off with girls.”

DADDY have worked on animation and motion graphics commercials for O2, Ambrosia, Coca Cola and Darklight Film Festival. DADDY are well established for their music video work screened on MTV & VH1 for such bands as Bell X1, David Kitt, Autamata, Mundy, and Halite.

Their work has been screened at the Galway and New York Film Fleadhs and at RESFEST. DADDY has been profiled in magazines such as Graphics International (Graphik), Face magazine and the Japanese publishers Pao&Paws 'Clin d'oeil' book.

Red Rage Films will be representing DADDY for TV commercials and expect a lot of interest from leading ad agencies. Managing Director, Paul Holmes said: “Our collaboration with DADDY will give Irish advertising agencies the opportunity to make hard working & creative animated commercials as an alternative to live action. Red Rage Films are delighted to be adding DADDY to their already distinguished team of directing talent.”
