WIT & Nemeton TV Open Applications for Diploma in Television

The Level 8 course is one year-long and focuses on practical television and digital skills. The course is taught through Irish and equips students with the skills they need to work in the television industry, as well giving students the opportunity to create and develop their own Irish-language documentary.

A number of industry professionals teach the modules, including WIT and Nemeton TV experts. Previous lecturers include ‘Ros na Rún’ director Cóilín Ó Scolaí, who took up a position on the programme in 2007.

Waterford-based Nemeton TV is responsible for a number of successful Irish productions, including its IFTA-nominated coverage of ‘GAA Beo’ for TG4, and short film ‘The Ottoman Empire’ which received the Galway Film Centre/RTÉ Short Film Award.
