Guy Hibbert's 'Complicit' Drama for Channel 4

Guy Hibbert Tweet IFTA nominated writer Guy Hibbert’s (Five Minutes of Heaven, Omagh) latest feature drama script has been commissioned by Channel 4. The feature length single drama called ‘Complicit’ will investigate the moral dilemmas facing MI5 officers involved in the war on terror and follows main character Edward in the Middle East as he wrestles with some of the key moral questions. C4 Chief Creative Officer Jay Hunt says, “I'm delighted to be able to green light this extraordinarily compelling film. Guy Hibbert's drama shows us a hidden world we think we know in an entirely original way, and goes straight to the core of one of the greatest dilemmas of our age.” The film will be produced by UK company Manyriverfilms and produced by Kevin Toolis (The Cult of the Suicide Bomber, Circus Day, Circus Nights) and Jolyon Symonds (Mrs. Mandela, Trial and Retribution).
