Claddagh Films Wrap ‘Channel 31’

Independent film company Claddagh Films, have just wrapped principal photography on their latest short ‘Channel 31’.

Written by writer-in-residence Ken Armstrong, ‘Channel 31’ was directed by Dermot Tynan. Producer of the project is Lara O’Connell.

The short tells the tale of Cosmo played by Conor Irwin (The Exhibition) and Emily played by Cora Fenton (Strength and Honour) and their brother’s funeral. The film set primarily in a graveyard in Co. Clare took four days to shoot. D.O.P on the project was Rua Meegan. Dermot Tynan will be editing the short in Claddagh’s own edit suites.

It is expected that the final product will be finished mid-September, ready to enter the Autumn/Winter film festivals. The company have also produced ‘A Place in my Heart’ with more projects in the pipeline including ‘An Autumn Affair’ and ‘Bas in Eireann’.
