‘Whatever Turns You On’ by Dublin Filmmaker Declan Cassidy, which has scooped a number of awards since it’s premiere at Galway Film Fleadh last summer, has just been officially selected for the Palm Springs International Shortfest (23 – 29 June).

Funded by the Irish Film Board, ‘Whatever Turns You On’ features a cast of Irish actors including Luke Cameron (Hill 16, Fair City), who plays the homeless man, alongside Caoimhe O’Malley and Richard Wall.

Amongst the film’s accolades are Best Short Short at Aspen Colorado, Best Irish Short at Kerry, Best Film at Florence, Italy, and the Audience Award at Filmstock, UK.

Cassidy has just completed another Irish Film Board funded short titled ‘Veronique’ starring Australian actress Martha Christie and Richard Wall as well as an 8 part TV drama series which is due to hit the TV screens this summer.
