Galway Film Fleadh have announced that the Junior/Generation Fleadh will take place from the 13th - 16 November, 2023.

Junior/Generation Film Fleadh is tailor-made for young minds aged between 12-25, with a selection of films, animations, documentaries, and short films created by young talents. Educational film events include engaging career panels, an outreach programme, and workshops led by film professionals.

Through the Youth Council and Film Club, the festival works to ensure all aspects of programming remain relevant to younger audiences.

Participants aged 12 - 19 years old can sign up to the Generation Fleadh Film Club, and start watching great European films for free.

This includes:

• Access to a fantastic selection of European films.
• Meeting other young people from all over Europe to discuss films.
• Engaging in lively discussions about the participants’ favourite films.
