Cinemagic International Film and Television Festival for Young People is recruiting ‘CineFocus’ jury panels of 12-25 year olds to watch and judge a series of films from around the world during the November Cinemagic Belfast 2014 Festival programme.
The jury will meet on various dates in November in festival cinemas in Belfast where they will enjoy a feast of film, learn how to review and critique, and choose the winning films of the festival which will be announced at the closing night the festival on 28th November in Odyssey Cinemas Belfast.
Cinemagic film jury members will have the opportunity to meet other young film fans, learn about the role of the film critic, meet filmmakers and festival guests and play an important role in Cinemagic Belfast, with this year marking the Festival’s 25th Anniversary.
Chris Shaw, Cinemagic Festival Programmer said: ‘Jury members will play a key role in our 25th Anniversary Festival. The CineFocus jury offers young people the chance to meet others with a similar passion for film, to discuss and debate, and to make new friends, whilst expanding their understanding of the different genres of film.’
