Cork Institute of Technology Add To Media Programme
16 Dec 2013 :

Cork Institute of Technology's Department of Media Communications will launch a new masters course in e-learning, beginning this January 2014.

The Master of Arts in E-Learning Design and Development is a new 60 credit course spanning two academic semesters. Significantly, the degree is delivered and supported in an entirely online format, seeing students provided with a virtualized desktop with all required software and materials for the course stored in CIT's own cloud computing infrastructure.

The MA in E-Learning Design and Development joins CIT's slate of other media-related courses; some of those which aim more towards preparing students for a career in film, television and multimedia production include courses in Media Production, Multimedia, and Digital Media Design and Development.

All of CIT's media-based courses are aimed towards providing students with the skills and experience "to identify key trends and key practices" to better them for work in the industry, says Dr. Gearóid O' Shúilleabháin, who acts as course co-ordinator on the MA programme.

For more information on CIT's new MA course or their further courses in media production, visit the CIT website or view the video below.
