Registration for the Ireland on Screen Stand at MIPCOM 2012 is now officially open.
The Ireland on Screen stand will be at the MIPCOM event in Cannes from October 8-11, with support from the Irish Film Board and Enterprise Ireland.
MIPCOM is the world's entertainment content market and provides a networking opportunity for TV producers, distributors and filmmakers. The Ireland on Screen stand will be adjoined to the RTÉ booth to help promote a strong Irish presence.
The October conference’s sister event, MIPTV, saw a number of Irish production and distribution companies do business, including Monster who signed deals for its animated series ‘I’m a Creepy Crawly’ back in April. The series was sold to Discovery Networks International and aired last month.
For this year’s MIPCOM event, a support package is available, which contains exclusive and unlimited access to the exhibition and top level conferences; yearly access to MIPWORLD - the online database and networking tool to identify key targets and plan meetings in advance; and an opportunity to have your company listed on the MIPCOM 2012 Guide and Quick Guide. A subsidised participation fee per delegate is also available for €890.
Full access to the Ireland on Screen services and supports includes a networking reception; company logo display; inclusion in the Ireland on Screen at MIPCOM Brochure among others.
The deadline for inclusion in the Guide is September 6.
