This is a classic example of a private housing estate built during the years of prosperity that came with the Celtic Tiger. Large detached houses, gardens and leafy avenues make this a typical ‘des-res’ for the Noughties in Ireland.
Built above the old village of Glanmire on the Eastern outskirts of the City, it is now bigger than the village itself. Despite having no amenities nearby it remains very desirable due to its proximity to the Centre and is ideal for young professional couples with children. An Irish ‘Brookside’ but with bigger houses and higher price tags!
