Tony Randall, an aspiring film maker tours Ireland collecting material for a documentary. When passing through the village of Ballymorrissey, he encounters the birthday celebrations of Patrick Farrell who is 110 years old and renowned to be the oldest man in the world. But Patrick does not wish to be the subject of a documentary as he falsified his age in order to claim the pension some years earlier.
