BIOGRAPHY
Colin is a partner with Arthur Cox solicitors and head of the Media & Entertainment Group. He is also a member of the International Association of Entertainment Lawyers.
Colin advises broadcasters, production companies, cable television companies, investors and individuals on a wide variety of matters including: television and film production agreements; financing agreements; talent agreements; writers, directors and producers contracts; broadcasting and regulatory advice; music licensing and copyright generally; recording, live performance, merchandising and management agreements in the music industry; publishing; sponsorship and advertising; and also provides general commercial law advice to clients in the media and entertainment industry.

EXPERIENCE
Colin has a background in general commercial law and media regulation and has developed a significant practice in advising a range of businesses entertainment and commercial media matters.
An example of a recent project on which Colin advised was Celtic Woman, where Colin acted as advisor to several of the performers, which involved reviewing recording contracts, merchandising and live performance agreements.
In addition, over the past number of years, Colin has been involved in most of the significant media industry acquisitions in Ireland and has advised many of Ireland's leading companies on advertising and promotional issues.
