The Irish Film & Television Academy announced the nominees this morning for the upcoming Film & Drama Awards on April 8th in The Mansion House, Dublin.
Four Element Pictures Distribution projects have received a total of eleven nominations; ‘Without Name’ (Lorcan Finnegan), ‘Tomato Red’ (Juanita Wilson), ‘Mattress Men’ (Com Quinn) and Darren Thornton’s ‘A Date for Mad Mary’.
‘A Date for Mad Mary’ has been nominated for five awards alone, including Feature Film, Director, Scriptwriter (Darren Thornton and Colin Thornton), Actress in a Leading Role (Seána Kerslake) and Actress in a Supporting Role (Charleigh Bailey).
‘Tomato Red’ from Juanita Wilson follows this with four nominations: Best Feature Film, Scriptwriter Film (Juanita Wilson), Cinematography (Piers McGrail) and Sound (Niall Brad, Ken Galvin & Steve Fanagan).
‘Mattress Men’ is nominated in the George Morrison Best Feature Documentary category, while ‘Without Name’ is also nominated for Sound (Aza Hand & Patrick Drummond).
