The final episode of Lisa McGee's The Deceived airs tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media One

Virgin Media Television’s original Irish drama series The Deceived featuring Emmett J Scanlan and Paul Mescal concludes tonight on Virgin Media One at 9pm.

To date, the series has proven to be popular with Irish audience reaching over 662,000 viewers, with the average viewership for episode one and two currently standing at 328,000 across all platforms.

The psychological thriller about lust, murder and manipulation was written by Lisa McGee, (creator of Derry Girls) and her husband Tobias Beer.

Tonight, the series will reach a shocking conclusion as audiences will finally discover the truth about what happened to Michael’s novelist wife, Roisin, and his ex-lover and student, Annabelle. All the while Ophelia is trapped and cornered in the house at Knockdara, desperately trying to escape.

Produced by New Pictures, the four-part series is directed by Chloe Thomas (HarlotsVictoria), produced by Imogen O’Sullivan, and executive produced by Charlie Hampton (The Spanish Princess), Charlie Pattinson (Catherine the GreatThe Missing), Lisa McGee, and Tobias Beer, is supported by funding from Northern Ireland Screen.

The final episode of The Deceived airs tonight, Monday 21st September at 9pm on Virgin Media One.
