ShinAwiL appoints Niall Murphy as new Head of Business and Legal Affairs

Niall Murphy joins ShinAwiL.
Niall Murphy joins the production company ahead of upcoming ShinAwiL releases and projects including feature film The Miracle Club, new TV drama Clean Sweep, and the new season of Dancing with the Stars.

Dublin-based production company ShinAwiL has appointed Niall Murphy to head up the company’s business and legal affairs department.

He joins from his role as Head of Business Affairs at Treasure Entertainment, where he spent a total of three years. He previously spent over a decade as a business analyst and project manager in the financial services industry, including stints at ABN Amro, Credit Suisse and SumiTumo Mitsui. Murphy is also well-known in the Irish screen industry as the founder of industry news publication Scannain.

“I’m delighted to be joining ShinAwiL as they build on their success in recent years,” Murphy told IFTN. “Larry and the entire team have an impressive slate of projects coming in the foreseeable future and a long-term ambition that matches my own. Speaking about the appointment, CEO of ShinAwiL Larry Bass said: “Niall will be a strong addition to our team and will help us in our continuing growth at ShinAwiL as we prepare the release of feature film The Miracle Club, and forthcoming TV Drama Clean Sweep, as well as the new series of Dancing With The Stars and Home of the Year on RTÉ and Dylan McGrath’s Secret Service on Virgin Media TV.”
