The BAI has announced the upcoming retirement of its Chief Executive Michael O’Keeffe and the commencement of a recruitment process for the CEO position.
Mr. O’Keeffe, having worked in media regulation for over 30 years, including as CEO of the Independent Radio and Television Commission and the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland, is expected to retire from his current role in early summer 2021.
The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland has also confirmed that the recruitment process for a new CEO position has now been advertised.
