Mind the Gap Films is an award-winning independent production company based in Dublin. For over 20 years we’ve been making documentaries, entertainment, fact ent, music, formats, sport, and children’s programming for RTÉ, Virgin Media, TG4, Netflix, BBCNI, PBS and others. We are seeking a new team member to join us in production, postproduction, and development of our slate of projects. The initial contract period is 6 months, with the potential to be extended beyond that.

The role of PA/Researcher will involve (amongst other tasks); booking crew, researching and confirming locations, researching and confirming expert contributors, managing the completion of release forms, data wrangling, taking responsibility for deliverables to broadcasters, liaising with on and off-screen talent, archive research, distribution of call sheets, keeping up to date with broadcaster and funder briefs and deadlines, working closely with the producer to ensure productions run smoothly.

Fluency in the Irish language is essential. A minimum of 1 year industry experience required. Drivers’ licence and access to a car is preferable.

The right candidate will be a people person, with the ability to communicate clearly and calmly with cast and crew. Good timekeeping, attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are all requirements for this role. The role is based primarily in Dublin, in our office in Ranelagh, with the option to do half of the week working remotely.
