Head of Video – Agriland Media / AgriCreative

AgriCreative are a thriving Video Production company, working in the Agricultural industry. We create corporate and brand videos, editorial videos and series for our digital news media site, and we cover large events – we are the official Livestream Partner of the National Ploughing Championships.

AgriCreative is seeking to add to its production team with the hiring of an experienced video producer/director to head up the creative video team. This senior role will have responsibility for driving the creative direction of all video output, branded and in-house while leading the development of new concepts and strands to help drive the business forward.

The right candidate will be an experienced all-rounder with a passion for creating, planning and directing productions.

Day to Day:

• Managing the production team – assigning projects, responding to clients and editorial
• Shooting, directing and editing corporate/brand video for clients
• Writing and pricing proposals in response to client briefs, working with our commercial team
• Strategic planning around editorial series and output
• Drive improvements in content across all channels from streaming to social video.
• Lead all big shoots and hire freelance production staff
• Help train and mentor junior staff
• Plan video shoots; scout, select and reserve shoot locations
• Record and edit video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/sfx, media management and archiving project media

Essential skills & Competencies:

• Full Adobe Suite – Video Editing and Motion Graphics
• Shooting on Sony, Blackmagic and Canon equipment – (both larger format and DSLR)
• Experience of writing proposals, creating budgets, and managing them
• Experience of livestreaming
• Creative thinking
• Collaboration
• Innovative
• Attention to Detail
• Must be able to drive

Previous experience:

• At Least 3 Years working in a Video Production environment at a senior level
• Showreel of previous work.
• Experience with commercial clients
