Venom Films is an award winning documentary production company based in Ranelagh, Dublin 6. We are currently looking for a casting researcher for an exciting film project to be directed by Ken Wardrop. Ken’s films include His & Hers and Cocooned. The successful applicant’s role will involve sourcing interesting characters and exploring their stories. They will be working to ambitious deadlines and reporting to both the producer and the director. The successful candidate should be full of ideas, show great initiative, with a warm and engaging personality.

THE POSITION 

• Sourcing characters 
• Reaching out and liaising with multiple organisations  
• Interviewing and compiling notes 
• Writing character breakdowns  
• Liaising with the producer and director  

DESIRBALE 

• Some research experience preferred  
• A background in interacting with all sorts of people  
• The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines  
• Planning and organisational skills 
• Basic computer skills 
• Basic social media skills
