2rn have a vacancy for a suitably qualified and experienced Broadcast Engineer to work in the National Monitoring Centre (NMC). This is a full-time, shift position, based in Dublin 24.
The primary responsibilities will be to control and monitor the day to day operational status of the 2rn Analogue Radio, and Digital Television transmission network, to identify issues and perform first line remedial action across the network as necessaryutilising remote-control technologies and graphical user interfaces.
The engineer will be required to diagnose service issues/problems and undertake remote maintenance intervention and remedial actions.
Applicants should hold a technical qualification in electronics or telecommunications and have previous experience in a technical and customer focused environment.
