Software Developer

Windmill Lane Visual Effects, Ireland’s leading VFX provider, are seeking an experienced Software Developer to join their busy engineering team.

Responsibilities:

Working with VFX pipeline TD’s, Engineering, Production teams and Artists to troubleshoot, maintain, streamline and improve existing pipeline and develop new tools as required.

Skill Requirements:

  • Experience with RESTful  services
  • Full Stack Python Developer
  • Generalist
  • Test writing / documentation
  • Competent Linux user
  • Containerization (Docker)
  • IT Automization ( Ansible, Jenkins )
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Virtualization (Virtualization, VMware, HyperV )

The ideal candidate will also have an interest in the audio visual industry in particular in visual effects process for modern filmmaking.
