Transmission Controller
Main tasks of Job:
- Loading, timing and checking transmission schedules
- Liaising with programme compliance
- Loading commercial spots and other interstitials onto the servers
- Ensuring transmitted schedule complies with BAI timing requirements, particularly commercial air-time limits
- Ensure that the output of all channels are kept to the highest broadcast standards
Essential
- An excellent understanding of broadcast automated transmission systems
- A thorough understanding of broadcast video formats and standards
- Experience in live automated television presentation for a terrestrial, cable or satellite broadcaster
- A good understanding of studio operations
- Excellent computer and keyboard skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Show initiative and act calmly under pressure
- Good communications skills
