Our client, an award-winning international creative event and brand experience company that is Irish owned is seeking an experienced and highly organised Production Manager.
The job:
- You will work on world class events with some of the biggest brands in the world
- As a PM, you will be responsible for working with the creative and project management teams to bring events to life and deliver an amazing experience
- Work with creative teams to find the right suppliers and technical solutions to implement/execute creative concepts
- Engage with suppliers, department heads, operators, freelance staff and key event personnel to ensure that all technical aspects of the event are run flawlessly
- Assist in managing budgets, keeping accurate and extensive records of all production expenditure
- Create and run production schedules, with all suppliers and key departments
- Liaise with and maintain regular and clear communication channels with the project management and creative teams
- Communicate courteously with clients and external parties
- Own and control the timeline development as part of project management
- Contribute to the development of the company’s global production capabilities
Your skills/background:
- 3+ years of production knowledge working on corporate events and/or brand experiences and activations
- A track record of working on high impact and complex projects
- An up-to-date knowledge of international production practices and new technologies
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Ability to work on several projects at the same time
- A good understanding of brands and how to treat them
- Confidence in dealing with and presenting to clients
- Capable of working with other departments to solve any challenges that occur
- A good understanding of Health and Safety practices within the event industry
What we would like you to have?
- Experience with either AutoCAD or Vectorworks with 3D drawing programmes
- Minimum of three years proven experience in an event production manager related capacity
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Docs
- Strong administrative skills and an ability to meet tight and moving deadlines
- Ambition and confidence to work on own initiative to accomplish tasks
- Experience in budgeting – focusing on effective cost control for budgets
- Numeracy and strong analytical skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with strong performance is preferred but not essential
