Boulder Media requires a CG Supervisor

The CG Supervisor will work with Directors, Art Director and Animation Director, to ensure that all the 3D assets are created, function and move efficiently on a high standard on both technical and creative levels, to achieve the required look and meet creative directions.

The CG Supervisor will also work close with the Art team in-house and the 3D animation studio overseas, to help finding technical solutions to improve the pipeline and meet production schedule.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist the Art team in designing the 3D elements and implement the technical and artistic pipeline and workflow.
• Supervise and review all the 3D work to achieve the desired look and behaviours and identify and solve any potential problems, making sure to maintain an efficient technical approach and high quality standards.

Person Specification:

• Extensive experience in CG (5+) visual effects or game industry, minimum of 2 years as a CG Supervisor.
• Extensive Knowledge of the production and post production process.
• Expert knowledge of Maya (+ other CG software like 3DS Max, Zbrush, Modo, Vray) and strong understanding of modelling, texturing, look development, lighting, particles, fluids and dynamics.
• Distinct sense for composition, light and colour and excellent attention to detail.
• Experience supervising and integrating pipeline tools to meet the technical and creative vision of the show.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, proactive attitude and ability to work within a team environment and willingness to share knowledge.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to keep consistently high quality.

This role is only open to applicants willing to relocate to Ireland.
