Brown Bag Films requires an Accounts Assistant
Job title: Accounts Assistant (Full Time)
Reporting to: Financial Controller
Salary: DOE
Summary of the Role
Working within a highly dynamic and creative business environment, this role offers the right candidate a wonderful opportunity to join an exciting high growth company. As part of the Finance Team the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the Finance function of Brown Bag Films and its related companies and will help the finance team across the function, gaining valuable experience and career development.
Responsibilities may include:
- Invoice matching, coding & processing
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Preparing & processing weekly supplier payment runs
- Monthly creditor reconciliations
- Reconciliation of Direct Debit mandates
- Processing bank transactions
- Preparing monthly bank reconciliations
- Managing petty cash
- Processing employee expenses, per diems & credit card transactions
- Processing company online purchases
- Filing and archiving
- Reconciliation of accounts
- Assist in other bookkeeping and accounts maintenance tasks as required
Person Specification:
- Strong numerical skills
- Qualified in Financial Discipline to Degree level, or related discipline
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good organisational skills and ability to work on own initiative
- Desire to continue with financial learning preferred
- Must be PC literate, experienced in MS office suite
- Experience in general accounting and control / reconciliation tasks a bonus
