The Irish Film Board requires a Production and Development Assistant (4-year fixed term)
Department: Production and Development
Reporting to: Project Manager Team
Role
Reporting directly to the IFB Project Manager Team this role will provide administrative support collectively and individually to the three project managers. It will assist the Project Manager team within a very busy fast-moving environment with administration, filing, contacts, script administration, diaries and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide high quality and efficient administrative service to the Project Manager team
- To assist the Project Manager team with day-to day administration, coordination of meetings, diary management, contacts co-ordination of key meetings
- To support effective work flows and processes including streamlining internal workflows, project monitoring and filing
- Maintain the Unit paperwork, letters of support and follow up with IFB applicant companies
- To provide key support as required
- A desire to work the Film and TV sector is essential
Key Skills/Competencies
- Excellent computer package proficiency including Word and Excel,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a fast-paced team who can contribute to a dynamic and innovative working environment,
- Must have a strong client focus
- Must be able to work to challenging deadlines and work on own initiative
- Must be a proactive thinker and must be able to think and work ahead of the Project Manager team and provide excellent support
Salary Scale
This position will be offered at Clerical Officer Grade. Salary scale will be €22,879 rising incrementally. Annual leave is 20 days and all these posts will be part of the Irish Film Board Superannuation Scheme. There will also be a probationary period of 9 months.
