Boulder Media requires a Background Keys

Working in a busy creative environment, the successful candidate will work on a new high profile series which is being created in Toon Boom Harmony.

Responsibilities Include:

• Produce a set output per week as set out in the schedule and agreed with the BG Key Supervisor for any given project assigned.
• Ensure that all necessary materials are present before starting a scene, i.e. art director sketches, Concepts and an Animatic.
• Ensure that all Background Keys produced are of a consistently high standard and to deadline.
• File management – Ensure work files and folders are organized efficiently and backed up.
• Ensure that all naming conventions are followed and that all Background Keys are set up correctly and in line with the established production system and requirements of the After Effects Department.
• Ensure when BG Keys are completed that the scene is exported in the correct format and in the correct folder for review.
• Ensure all photos or any other element used in the BG key not created by the BG Key artist used are declared on the Tracker provided by production so necessary copyright clearance can be sought.
• Ensure that all retakes called by clients are followed and completed by the deadline given.

Person Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
• Comfortable in working to tight deadlines
• You must have excellent drawing skills with a great sense of colour, design, perspective, staging, camera placement and composition
• Strong communication skills
