Windmill Lane Pictures requires an Accounts Assistant

Windmill Lane Pictures is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their Finance Dept. This role offers the successful candidate an opportunity to join a busy Post Production Company. As part of the Finance Team the Accounts Assistant will gain valuable experience and career development. 

Duties will include the following:

• Generating Sales Invoices from our scheduling  system
• Administration of petty cash / expense reports and payments.
• Receipt and processing of supplier invoices.
• Ensure all invoices, approvals and related entries are accurately booked, allocated and filed on a timely basis.
• Processing bank transactions
• Reconcile debtors and creditors ledger.
• Preparation of bank reconciliations.
• General support and assistance to the team, including the completion of ad hoc tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Strong numerical skills
• Experience in general accounting and reconciliation tasks
• Accounting technician or part-qualified accountant qualifications
• A number of years relevant experience including month end accounting
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
