TV3 reqires a Producer for a temporary 6 month contract

The Seven O’Clock Show on TV3 is looking for a new Producer to join the team. This is a temporary contract for a period of 6 months.

We’re looking for someone who has a proven track record in content generation that can work to tight deadlines and keep up with the demands of a fast paced live daily entertainment show.

Please note, this is not an entry level position and only candidates with 5+ years in television will be considered.

Main Duties

• Gallery producer responsible for output on assigned days
• Managing segments & guests
• Writing running orders and scripts
• Crafting interviews & content for shows
• Forward planning
• Developing new strands & ideas for the series

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• At least 5 years experience in the television industry
• Gallery experience (not a requirement but desirable)
• Experience dealing with on screen talent
• Experience in entertainment television
• Great communication skills
• A good contact book
• Strong editorial judgement
• Exceptional planning and organisation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and lead a busy tea
