Description:
The successful applicant will work as part of the TVM team. Reporting to Head of Department. A Sound Guarantee at TVM will work on television outside broadcasts and you will work with visiting Sound Supervisors, preparing the OB to their specification. On broadcast days you will guarantee all audio and communications equipment and assist the sound supervisor on delivery of the broadcast. In advance of a production the Sound Guarantee will be expected to liaise with the Unit Manager and TVM colleagues to identify and agree the most appropriate sound requirements and solutions. At all stages of a production the Sound Guarantee will be required to show leadership and responsibility for the output of their team.

Skills necessary:

A thorough understanding of audio principles

A working knowledge of digital audio desks and Communication systems

The ability to trouble shoot and resolve issues

Good communication skills

Accuracy and attention to detail

Fluent spoken and written English

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Driving licence

Experience necessary:
Experience of working in Television Environment Ability to work as part of a team Proven ability to perform role calmly under pressure
