Digital Space Dublin is a member of the Screen Scene group of companies and the NEP Worldwide Network. We are Ireland's leading mobile transmit earth station provider and we will have an opening for a trainee TV Satellite Technician. The training program is based in both central Dublin and Kilcoole Co Wicklow and on location. Candidates will be trained in all aspects of satellite broadcasting. They will need to be flexible and train on weekends. Training will include use maintenance and repair of technical equipment used in the day to day running of the satellite broadcast operation.

No previous experience is necessary. However applicants should have completed a 3rd level course in electronics/telecommunications. Candidates must be able to work well under pressure and be open minded and committed. An interest in sport would be beneficial. Finally all candidates will need to have a full driving licence.

The position would be perfect for someone who is looking to start a career in satellite broadcasting.
