The Unit Manager oversees all of the broadcast activities, ensures that all footage is captured to the clients requirements and acts as liaison on the day with broadcasters and event host. The successful applicant will work as part of the TVM team based from our Headquarters in Bartlemy, Co Cork.
Responsibilities of the successful candidate will include:
• Client Liaison for all requirement planning and post-event feedback
• Site Recce’s and event planning
• Engage with relevant third parties
• Engage with relevant departments and compile requirements to ensure all needs are effectively planned and executed for each OB
• Oversee all operational staff on-site
• Other duties as required
Skills/Experience Required:
• Experience working on Live Outside Broadcast events
• Good understanding of video and audio signal flows
• Network / IT skills are an advantage
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Outlook
• Experience in Supervisory / People Management role
• Possess strong communication and influencing abilities
• Solution orientated, with strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Candidates should be flexible in approach
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including accuracy and attention to detail
• Fluent spoken and written English
